Hey there!

Updated: Oct 7, 2022

I'd like to do a true introduction to all of you,

My name is Madison or Madi if you like. I am 27 and she/her are my pronouns. I'm originally from a small town in Ontario, Canada but moved to a larger city still in Ontario where I met my loving boyfriend and adopted our sweet husky named Stella (or Stelly to us) at five weeks old and who is now 2 years old.

I suffer from many physical chronic illnesses, mainly Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and TMD caused Trigeminal Neuralgia, along with Dysautonomia, Mast Cell Activation Syndrome and eczema, chronic migraines, Restless Leg Syndrome, Allodynia, and Gerd.

I also suffer a few mental illnesses such as Borderline Personality Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, and Dysthymia, Misophonia, Seasonal Affective Disorder, am also Neurodivergent awaiting testing for autism.

I know.. it's a lot to handle, but somehow I do.

I am an artists of all kinds, first and foremost I am a painter and photographer. I also draw, knit, craft and sew things together, and am my own makeup artist. Other hobbies of mine are music - something that soothes my soul and says all I wish I could, collecting random objects kind of like a little goblin - especially feathers, movies and shows - my comfort show is Son's Of Anarchy, and reading.

My happy place in this whole world is being at any concert no matter where it is. This is where I feel most alive and at peace in my mind and soul. It is only there that I truly can say to myself "wow this is real life, I am here and happy!"

I am a cannabis friendly page. I use it for my physical pain as well as anxiety and nausea. I will always suggest it as a medicine for anyone who can to use it in whatever form works best for you!

I created this page as my safe place to post about my struggles as well as share articles and memes related to illness and equality. I wanted to help destigmatize illness, help bring awareness to the struggles that come with illness, help others learn more about mental and physical illness, and help others feel supported and boosted up the way I never felt.

I've designated this page a safe place for all walks of life banning any kind of hate towards illness, gender, sexuality, race, classism, and bullying. This is a place that you can feel welcome!

I created an email for anyone to message if they are in need of support or a boost in confidence for any reason, or to share content to me to share here - meme or personal stories (I would LOVE to share your story if you'd like!). If you would like to email me, send it off to BorderlineMind0406@outlook.com.

If you need a compassionate friend I urge you to message or email me and I will be there for you in the best way I can!!

So welcome to Chronic Illness and the Borderline Mind!

-Madison💜
